I think it depends on who called the stats in to which paper. It seems like the "major papers" and other larger sources got their stats from one team, while the Coalfield got theirs from another.
Kelly...and the Coalfield is the local paper as we all know...and they are the only ones with thier version of the numbers...on tricities.com and timesnews.net the stats are almost identical...and I tend to believe their version than either the post or the coalfield on a weekly basis.

In local games they have their local reporters to get from home teams whereas the local papers usually have a reporter there doing it for themselves...which is a little less biased.

Well the thing is, unless there is a friendly network going on, the home team calls in the stats of a game to Bristol and Kingsport paper, so it would seem more likely that those numbers should be from Kelly.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
The situation I was basing my response on was the one i was once in...but we were a lil remote for much coverage..and not very good at first either.

What??????????? LOL!!! They have Kelly with one less rushing attempt and 2 less passing yards gained somewhere.

Go to the site and when you lok at the scores go to the sports geek link. Then just click on either team in the "battleground" section. FYI tho, stats sometimes differ cuz the person keeping them will round up on gains that don't necessiarily merit doing so. Most count 6 1/2 yards as 7...but if the gain is 6 yards and a football nose, most count it as 6...some still give em 7. It isn't an exact science, just as spotting the ball isn't exact. It's an approximation. And when counting carries, you have each individual carry on the chart...it isn't out of the realm of possibility to miscount by give or take 1 carry.

Just saw the replay and Anderson was down when the ball was stripped. I hope that both teams can make the playoffs for a rematch.
I saw it straight on...from the endzone. He was stripped during his spin. There was no doubt, but I'd say it looked the way you saw it from the side.
